     Top News 
   1)MHT CET results declared.
MHT CET results were declared in the district yesterday. Uma Soni of Yeshwant college is first in the district., she got 195 marks out of 200 in MHT CET. Other toppers of Yeshwant college are as follows Vedant Deshmukh(193),Sagar Burgulwad(193),Divya Biyani(191).Yeshwant college has continued it's tradition of good results. This year's result of the college is highest among the past years.Talking about N.E.S.'s Science college, 848 students were given the exam,out of those students 495 are eligible for admission in Medical and Engineering  colleges.
Shruti Shaha of this college came first in the college by acquiring 189 marks out of 200.

2)Chance to join Navy for Nanded youths.
Applications has been sought from the youths for all posts in Indian Navy to become an officer, 12th passed student can admitted in B.Tech.(Marine Engineering), for technical posts only 12th passed and for the tradesman-ship 10th pass are the  and necessary qualifications.

For the post of officers, last date of application is 29 June and for all other posts it is 18 June 2010. Military welfare officer, Nanded called upon the deserving students to avail this chance.
3)Allocation of wheat and rice is approved for the A.P.L. Beneficiaries of  drought-affected area.
 Government has sanctioned of 1280 metric ton wheat and 640 metric ton of rice, for the APL  beneficiaries of  drought-affected areas. Rate fixed by the government for wheat is 12.60Rs/kg, for ordinary rice 17Rs/kg, and for a grade rice it is 17.50Rs/kg.These grains will be distributed through cheap grain shops as per the rule, reported by upper collector Nanded.

4)Take us into considerations before enforcing credit-grading system.
  Professors' federation demanded vice-chancellor to take them into consideration before enforcing the credit-grading system in the colleges.
A few days ago government ordered to start the credit-grading system procedure.Joint board of vice chancellors validated this procedure were kept unknown to all.So the delegation of professors met with the vice chancellor of SRTMU Nanded and made their demand. Vice chancellor Dr. Nimse shown positive response to the role of federation and called for a workshop for all professors about the credit-grading system.

5)Stink on road due to drainage overflow.
Filth is extending on the roads of Shahidpura ward 38 of city due to drainage overflow. Walking is being difficult because of dirt.Though people of this area complained many times, no queries were entertained by the corporation.citizens of this area are now afraid of disease outbreak.If this problem is not eventuated, it is likely to be more in the showers.
